Husband and wife: Nikki Reed and Paul McDonald are officially married.
Twilight actress Nikki Reed married former American Idol contestant Paul McDonald on Sunday (16.10.2011) after a short four-month engagement. The couple tied the knot at a private ranch in Malibu, California in front of 100 family and friends. Paul even had a surprise performance with his band, according to E! Online.
“We couldn’t be happier! [We were] surrounded by our family and friends. We’re so glad this day has come.”-the married couple Us Weekly magazine.
Nikki Reed and Paul McDonald first met at the premiere of “Little Red Riding Hood” in March. A month later, the singer moved in to Reed’s LA home. The former American idol contestant, knew the actres was ‘The One‘ for him almost as soon as they started dating.
“It’s kind of one of those things you don’t expect. Like, last year I never would have thought I’d be getting married. She’s amazing. She’s the perfect girl. We fit each other; when you know, you know, and she’s the one.”-Paul McDonald said about Nikki Reed.
