The engagement is back on: Kristin Cavallari and Jay Cutler apparently worked things out.

The on-again, off-again relationship of Bears quarterback Jay Cutler and reality star Kristin Cavallari is back on. The beauty announced on Wednesday (30.11.11) that the two are engaged again, tweeting:

“This time its official..Jay and I are engaged again ”-the former The Hills star wrote.

During a press conference later that day, Jay Cutler joked he “just heard about” Kristin Cavallari’s tweet. On a more serious note, he confirmed they’re engaged, but haven’t set a wedding day yet. The 24 year-old came out with the confirmation over their re-engagement a day after she was spotted sporting her 5.2 carat engagement ring while out and about in West Hollywood.

Kristin Cavallari and Jay Cutler got engaged during a vacation in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico in April after about seven months of dating. Around mid-July, the couple ended the engagement, right around the time the NFL lockout ended.

Luckily they’re back together now. Congrats to the re-engaged couple!

It has been reported that Kristin Cavallari and Jay Cutler No Longer Engaged. They had only been dating for about 10 months before becoming engaged back in April of this year. A source had told People magazine that the couple had called it quits on their marital plans.

There is no word on what has caused these two to break off their engagement but the People source also stated, “She was hanging out at a table with Nicky Hilton and Alessandra Ambrosio. She was telling friends how she called off the engagement.”

Jay was with Kristin while she had walked the runway for the Mercedes Benz Fashion Week SWIM in Miami, FL last weekend. Whatever had caused the break up most have been something that was a long time coming.
