Prenup Is Officially Signed Between Kim Kardashian And Kris Humphries as the newlyweds finally got everything written down and agreed upon. According to The Hollywood Reporter, the prenup pretty much states that the 30 year old reality star is $35 million worth, as well as the 26 year old NBS player worth at $8-$16 million, will be completely protected if there were to be any breakup in the future.
Laura Zwicker, the family wealth planner, as told The Hollywood Reporter, that the prenup not only protects the newlywed’s assets, but it also protects any of the Kardashian family members you might have money and entitlements that are mixed in business with Kim.
Continuing to give her two cents, Zwicker also added that if they do split Kris would have a huge disadvantage in trying to dispute the prenup due to he has a large net worth as well. Stating, “In their situation, it’s less likely that a court would find it was unconscionable. They are similarly situated. She might have 10 times as much assets as he has, but he is not poverty stricken.”
I think that it was a great idea to get a prenup signed. It doesn’t mean that one or both parties don’t trust each other. It just simply means you have to protect yourself, because you never know what might happen.
