Second child on the way: Billie Piper is pregnant again.

The Secret Diary of a Call Girl star Billie Piper and her husband Laurence Fox, who already have one son, will welcome baby number two next year. The actress is 15 weeks pregnant with her second child.

Rather than Billie Piper, 29,  making the announcement herself, the news came from the director of her London show, Reasons To Be Pretty. The actress was worried that being pregnant would affect her role in the play and offered to withdraw before its first official night on November 17.

However, the show’s director, Michael Attenborough and writer Neil LaBute wanted her to continue.

“She (Billie Piper) was upset and told me she was pregnant. She very generously offered to withdraw from the show. However, she was Neil LaBute’s and my first choice for the part – and fortunately the character is pregnant – so with a bit of judicious re-writing we’re all delighted she’ll be with us. I told her that I’d love her to do it and she just wept on my shoulder. She thought that was it. She was thrilled.”-Michael told Daily Mail.

The pregnant mother of one has previously said she would like to have another child although was in no hurry:

“Who knows what will happen? It’s funny because when you get engaged, everyone asks when you are marrying. Then when you have a child, they ask when you are going to have a second one. We will just have to wait and see.”-Billie Piper said.

The couple are expecting their second child: Billie Piper with husband Laurence and their son Winston.
