Apparently most people are not jumping up an down with joy when it comes to Anne Hathaway’s, Catwoman costume for “The Dark Knight Rises.”
MTV called the costume “unflattering” and “underwhelming.” In a people taken by Us Weekly 52% of the readers voted for Michelle Pfeiffer who cam in at #1. Halle Berry came in second with 37% of the readers votes for her. Finally Anne Hathaway came in 3rd place with 11% of the votes.
But how can someone vote accurately based on 1 or 2 photos? No one has seen the movie yet, not even a trailer. Hands down, Michelle Pfeiffer is #1, there’s just something about Michelle Pfeiffer and her eyes. She has this certain look that makes her look feline, sometimes supernatural, especially when she was in her prime.
However, Halle Berry sucked. She made the stupidest faces and her costume was tacky for lack of better words. There was nothing “cat like” about her. Not to mention how hideous her acting was in “Catwoman” in 2004.
Anne Hathaway’s “Catwoman” costume may not be as sexy as previous Catwoman costumes, but Anne Hathaway is the kind of woman that makes the outfit, instead the outfit making her. Asides from that, Anne Hathaway is probably one of the prettiest women in the movie business that with little effort if any looks stunning. People just want to see boobs and ass, that’s all.
Anne Hathaway took the critique rather well, maybe after her reply she went somewhere and cried but no one’s the wiser. Anne Hathaway promised that “there’s more to the costume that meets the eye.” She also, stated: “What I am happy to say is, if you didn’t like the photo, you only see about a 10th of what that suit can do.” And added: “And if you did like the photo, you have excellent taste.”
So that’s that. We think she looks wonderful and I’m sure once the The Dark Knight Rises is released, people are going to be gushing all over the 28 year old beauty. Anne Hathaway certainly has the features for “Catwoman.” She’s tall with great posture. Her facial features are pointy and delicate. She’s going to rock!
People just want to see more skin, which I’m sure the movie will deliver because it is Hollywood after all and nothing sells best than sex.
